I started preparing and realized that I only had limited ingredients to work with. Realizing this, however, led me to create a dish that tasted just as good. I began the cooking process for Pumpkin-Oatmeal Pancakes by melting a tablespoon of butter in a skillet, mixing in mashed pumpkin and spices like pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon sugar, nutmeg, ginger and ground cloves then sauteing the mixture on low heated until it forms a paste that can be easily spread on some prepared pancakes.

The outcome was actually pretty delicious- with sweetness coming from the syrup and brown sugar mixed into crushed oats before being cooked up with some milk along with pumpkin purée
