Essendon Bombers Bluey Advent Calendar

1872 Red-and-Black Sash Heritage Meets 24 Freestanding 3D Heeler Miniatures

Since their 1872 founding in Ascot Vale, through decades of suburban dominance at Windy Hill, and across sixteen VFL/AFL premierships celebrated at Marvel Stadium and the MCG, the Essendon Bombers have inspired generations of supporters to “Don the Sash.” The Essendon Bombers Bluey Advent Calendar translates that unmistakable jet-black and crimson-red identity into a twenty-four-day collector countdown starring Bluey and Bingo. Printed across an upright rigid paperboard collector box framed by crimson palm fronds and dark tropical foliage, bold red “ESSENDON” block lettering crowns the silver bomber-jet triangular shield. Directly below the crest, Bluey stands on a sandy shoreline wearing a black-and-red Bombers cap, dark sunglasses, and a black guernsey crossed by the red diagonal sash—uniquely cradling a laced red AFL football under her left arm beside a vertically split black-and-red “ESSENDON” surfboard.

A Silver-Jet Tiki Bar, 20 Coastal Poses, and 3 Jack-o’-Lantern Miniatures

Behind the 1-to-24 numbered countdown grid running down the left spine of the collector box waits a full squad of twenty-four freestanding 3D molded miniatures rather than flat paper tokens or hanging tags. Both Bluey and Bingo appear across the collection dressed in Essendon’s jet-black guernsey with the crimson diagonal sash, matching red-and-black hibiscus resort shirts, and Bombers-crested caps.

Twenty-one summer shoreline sculpts anchor the holiday lineup: a miniature thatched-roof wooden “TIKI BAR” booth with red roof lettering and the silver bomber-jet shield mounted on the front counter, two surfer Bluey figures standing beside black-and-red “ESSENDON” surfboards, two Bingo deck-chair loungers relaxing beneath a palm tree and a paneled black-and-red beach umbrella, a figure holding a black-and-red Bombers football, and a five-piece coastal band playing a wooden bongo drum, two acoustic guitars, a ukulele, and red maracas. Additional beach sculpts include Bluey with a colorful parrot perched on her hand, a black-and-red hula-skirt dancer wearing a crimson flower lei, an open black-and-red treasure chest filled with silver coins, a flag-topped sandcastle builder, a bucket-and-spade pose, a flaming tiki torch, a glowing beach lantern, a coconut drink pose, a beach-towel wave pose, and a wrapped black-and-red gift box, joined by three carved orange jack-o’-lantern crossover poses for families who start their display in late October.

Because every miniature is permanently attached to a flat-bottomed circular sandy base detailed with tiny seashells and starfish, young Bombers supporters can arrange the entire 24-piece roster along a mantelpiece, bookshelf, or coffee table throughout December and store them neatly inside the rigid paperboard collector box between seasons. Families shopping for an additional vehicle-and-flight themed countdown for a sibling can also pair this Bombers edition with the 24-vehicle construction advent calendar for December morning unboxing.
