Brisbane Lions Bluey Advent Calendar

A True Brisbane, Queensland Hometown Pairing in Maroon and Gold

Among all Australian Football League club crossovers, none shares a deeper geographic bond than the Brisbane Lions Bluey Advent Calendar: both the Brisbane Lions at The Gabba and Australia’s beloved Blue Heeler family call Brisbane, Queensland home. Formed after the 1996 season through the merger of the historic Fitzroy Lions and the Brisbane Bears, the club carries its maroon, blue, and gold palette into a 24-day summer countdown box topped by the gold roaring Lion shield emblem.

Constructed from rigid paperboard with a full-wrap matte finish, the upright box features a two-column 1-to-24 numbered index along the left spine, crimson hibiscus blooms around the base, and a cover portrait of Bluey in a maroon Lion-crested cap and floral resort shirt holding a coconut drink with a paper umbrella. As shown in the open-box view above, each perforated flap folds back cleanly to expose an individual interior partition where the daily figurine is wrapped to prevent scuffing before reveal.

24 Freestanding 3D Molded Bluey and Bingo Miniatures

Every daily slot reveals a freestanding three-dimensional molded miniature of either Bluey or Bingo dressed in Brisbane Lions maroon caps, gold-crested aloha shirts, and supporter guernseys. Most figures rest on circular, sand-textured bases dotted with tiny sculpted shells and starfish, anchored by a central bamboo-style TIKI BAR booth bearing the roaring Lion shield on its front counter and a surfer figure standing beside a maroon-and-gold surfboard.

Sunshine State Beach Vignettes and Three Jack-o’-Lantern Poses

Across the 24-piece lineup, coastal holiday scenes capture a warm Queensland December: Bluey grips a maroon Lion-crested ball, kneels beside an open maroon treasure chest filled with sculpted coins, holds a flaming tiki torch, carries a glowing camp lantern, and builds a sandcastle topped with a miniature flag, while a five-piece beach band plays bongo drums, ukuleles, and red-and-gold maracas beside a grass-skirted hula dancer and a deck chair shaded by a maroon-and-gold umbrella.

Three additional figures on the right edge introduce playful multi-holiday versatility—two seated figures cradling single carved jack-o’-lanterns and one standing Bluey balancing a triple pumpkin stack—allowing families to start their display in late October or unbox one compartment per morning from December 1 through Christmas Eve. Families shopping for additional children’s tabletop countdowns can also pair this Queensland footy set with the pixel block countdown calendar for a varied holiday gift bundle.
